Savant
Savant is the first feature film of Alidra Creative. The project has already been selected in several markets and events, such as Frontières@Fantasia in Canada, Blood Window in Ventana Sur in Argentina, Brand-New in Saló del Cinema i les Sèries in Barcelona and both Sitges Pitchbox and 3rd Pitchbox of FilmarketHub in Barcelona. This is a contained science fiction story that will be shot in English and is looking for co-producers to close its funding.
Synopsis: Alice, a neuroscientist with a severe memory disorder, sees how all of her experiments fail, and so she decides to go and find Ulysses, a guy who lives removed from the world on an abandoned oil rig, and who suffers from savant syndrome (he is incapable of forgetting) in order to find a cure for both of their conditions. The surprising results of their tests will lead them to cross all ethical and legal boundaries, and to risk their lives and even travel in time... in order to survive and overcome the tragic past they share, and which prevents them from being together.
